Professional Pre-Programme (3P) Knowledge Sharing Workshop by BPNSI inaugurated

Paradeep: Biju Patnaik National Steel Institute, under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, successfully hosted a 2-day Professional Pre-Programme (3P) Knowledge Sharing Workshop on May 14-15, 2025, for working professionals from Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel India Ltd., Paradeep, Odisha. The workshop covered key topics including Mineral Processing, Energy Scenario, and BIS and HS Codes.

Expert speakers Dr. Santanu Mandal (Assistant Professor, IIT Bhubaneswar), and Ms. Shaswoti Mohanty (Young Professional, BPNSI) discussed on Mineral Processing, whereas Prof. Satyapriya Satapathy (Senior Assistant Professor, BPNSI) led an engaging session on Energy Scenario, Climate Change, and Decarbonization. Scientist Deepak Kumar Patra (BIS Regional Office Bhubaneswar) provided an overview of BIS and HS Codes.

The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. U.S.R. Raju (Plant Head, AMNS) and Mrs. Supriya Swain (DGM, HR).
