Sundargarh/Rourkela,(Basanta Kumar Jena):- The valedictory ceremony of the 40-hours Mediation Training Workshop was held on dated 05.04.2023 in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Shri Justice Biswanath Rath, Judge, High Court of Orissa and Member, Mediation Monitoring Committee.
Shri Bidyut Kumar Mishra, Family Judge, Rourkela has delivered the Welcome address.
In his valedictory address, Hon’ble Shri Justice Biswanth Rath has emphasized on the object of this 40-hours Mediation Training Workshop which will equip trainee advocates with tools and techniques of modern mediation and which will enlighten them towards a broader outlook and futuristic approach of mediation. He also highlighted the contribution of a Mediator in a justice delivery system and he also stressed on importance of Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanism and its effect on reduction of burden of Courts.
The trainee advocates of Sambalpur, Jharsuguda and Sundargarh judgeship have shared their experience during this 5 days long mediation training and they expressed their gratitude for organizing such type of training for the advocates of Western Odisha.
R. Rathna Thara and S. Padma, Advocates of Madras High Court and Master Trainers of Supreme Court, MCPC Committee have also shared their experience and they applauded the initiative of organizing such intensive mediation workshop which would ultimately benefit the litigating parties.
Hon’ble Shri Justice Biswanth Rath and the Master-trainers are felicitated in this valedictory ceremony.
