Buguda / Dr Kumud Chandra Behera: After the death of her husband, a helpless widow from Puri district, has returned to Odisha from Surat by plane by the help of Pradeep Kumar Sahu, president of Pravasi Odia Samaj .
Niranjan Panda and wife Saudamini Panda of Puri district were living in Surat for many years . But in an unfortunate incident, Niranjan Died. Since it was the lockdown perid, The body of the late Niranjan was buried in Surat . Late Niranjans wife Soudamini was helpless and interested to return back to her village . As per the Supreme court guideline. the union and state government are responsible to provide safe passage and ensure the return of the people blocked due to lockdown. But for Soudamini nothing happened . Pradeep Kumar Sahu, The president of Pravasi Odia Samaj came to know about the helplessness of Soudamini . He extended a helping hand and ensured the return of Soudamini to Bhubaneswar by plane was helpless.
