Puri: A comprehensive preparatory meeting was held on Tuesday at the District Project Coordinator (DPC) Hall, bringing together key stakeholders in the education sector to chart the academic course for Puri district for the year 2025-26.
The meeting witnessed active participation from Nodal Headmasters, expert teachers, BEOs, ADEOs, the Principal and faculty members of DIET, as well as retired headmasters and other education professionals. The gathering aimed to formulate a detailed academic action plan tailored to the specific needs and goals of the district.
Throughout the day, attendees engaged in rigorous discussions and group work sessions, focusing on curriculum planning, pedagogical strategies, student performance enhancement, and school-level implementation frameworks. Inputs from experienced educators and administrators helped shape a holistic strategy to be implemented across government schools in the district.
“The collective effort and collaboration seen here today reflect our shared commitment to improving the quality of education in Puri. The action plan we’ve prepared is both pragmatic and forward-looking,” said DEO Deepak Kumar Padhee.
The implementation strategies finalized during the session are expected to be rolled out in phases starting from the beginning of the 2025-26 academic year. Key focus areas include inclusive education, teacher capacity building, use of technology in classrooms, and student-centric learning models.
This strategic planning initiative marks a significant step in ensuring academic excellence and educational equity across Puri district.
