Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Voice) : A FIR has been lodged by TPSODL Enforcement team leader Mr. Sabya Sachi Patra posted in Nabarangpur Division against a consumer name as Mr. Tufan Hiran (Assessment amount Rs. 95412/-) R/o Senapati Street, Nabrangpur town under Section 135 of Indian Electricity Act 2003 in an Electricity theft case wherein he was booked on 21.02.2022. He was availing power supply directly from TPSODL’s network. No meter found installed in his premises. Now the consumer is under police custody in Nabrangpur town police station.
“We are following up with police not to release him until unless he doesn’t pay penalty amount. His supply was disconnected but he again reconnected. This time we have taken step to lodge FIR including disconnection of supply.” says officials of TPSODL.
