Exhibition “Ama Sankruti ,Ama Khelana” organised & Wall Magazine of the school unveiled
Bhubaneswar 26.06.2025: The 59th Annual function and prize distribution ceremony of Government High School, Satyabhamapur under Balianta Block of Khordha District has been held on 25.06.2025 in the school premises with participation of students at large including Alumni. Inthe function held, 167 certificates with trophies were awarded to students of 4 categories of different competitions alongwith academic performances. Students also showcased their talents through cultural programmes featuring dance and music.
Smt. RashmitaBhoi, the Sarpanchof Satyabhamapur Gram Panchayat, graced the programme as the Chief Guest of the occasion. The programme started with lighting of lamps and garlanding on the Photograph of Mahaprabhu Sri Jagannath followed by opening chorus by students. Presided over the meeting by Sri Surendra Kumar Swain, Chairman of PanchshikshaSetu Committee of GGHS,Satyabhamapur, the Headmaster Incharge of the School Smt. SubhashreeSamantaray presented the Annual Report on activities andacademic achievements of the school for the year 2024-25. She also encouraged and wished the students for their bright future.
Attending as the Chief Speaker of the occasion, former HM of the School, Sri Narayan Behera inspired the students how to empower themselves to thrive in their academic pursuits and beyond,to uphold pride and glory to this institution.
President of Alumni Association of the School, Sri Saheb Kumar Sahu, one of the senior alumni and well known student of the school Sri Brundaban Behera and the General Secretary of the Association Sri Pathani Rout, shared their experiences during their study in this institution. These alumni, now being employed in different government establishments, advised the students on how to develop their creativity, to be innovative, scientific and research-oriented and to enhance their skills in various fields including sports, dance, and music etc. to become successful in their career.
At the beginning, the guests offered floral tribute to statues of Greatmen ,installed in the school campus. On the occasion, the guests inaugurated an exhibition “AmaSankruti ,AmaKhelana”, displaying pictures collected from scrapbooks along with presentation of Models by students of Mathematics and Science Clubs. Exhibits on IEC of various schemes and programmes related to education also displayed on the occasion.
The PET of the School, Sri Sharat KumarBasantaray including other teachers of the school co-ordinated for successful holding of the programme. Asst. Teachers of the School SiddheswiniMohanty anchored the event. Many local people, guardians, students, and alumni of different batches of the school were present in the event and encouraged the participants of the cultural programme and prize winners.
It is noteworthy to mention that, established in 1966, this Schoolis going to celebrate its Diamond Jubileeearly in the ensuing year 2026, for which different activities will be held in the school throughout the year 2025-26, for which co-operationfrom all those associated with the school has been sought for to make the year memorable.
