Athletes of Odisha AM/NS India Kho Kho High Performance Centre excel at 69th National School Games

Bhubaneswar, January27, 2026: Two athletes from Odisha AM/NS India Kho Kho High Performance Centre (HPC) delivered an outstanding performance at the 69th National School Games Kho Kho Tournament (U-14 Boys)held in Rajasthan during   January16-21, 2026. The OdishaTeam made the state proud by emerging as the runner up in the tournament.

Aditya Das and Subham Subhrajit Dalai, athletes of the HPC, were integral members of the Odisha squad. Their consistent performances, agility and game awareness significantly contributed to Odisha’s strong campaign and podium finish.

Odisha team showcased discipline, resilience and tactical brilliance throughout the championship. Odisha went down 23 – 19 against Rajasthan in a hard-fought final, winning hearts with their grit and spirit.

Sanjeev Sharma, Head Coach, Odisha AM/NS India Kho Kho HighPerformance Centre said, “This runner-up finish reflects the growing strength of grassroots Kho Kho in Odisha. Aditya and Subham have shown remarkable discipline, learning ability and mental toughness at such a young age.”

With such promising talent emerging from the U-14 level, Odisha continues to strengthen its position as a rising force in Indian Kho Kho.
