Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice) : BJP national Vice-President and former MP Shri Baijayant Panda has written a letter seeking the intervention of the Indian embassy at Kuwait to bring back the body of diseased odia youth Subhas Chandra Behera from Kuwait.
Subash Chandra Behera, eldest son of Uttam Charan Behera of Baliayoodi village under Pattamundai police station in Kendrapara district, was working as a day laborer in a private company in Kuwait. Family members came to know about the tragic death of Subash’s on the 26th of last month through his colleagues. Family members complained that the company authorities could not be reached for comment. The family appealed to Mr. Panda through former MLA Alekh Jena and BJP Kendrapara district president Kishore Panda for help.
At the request, Mr. Panda contacted the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait to inform him of the matter and demanded immediate steps to be taken to provide all sort of assistance to bring back the dead body to India .
