Bhubaneswar : BJD has assured to support NDA backed JDU candidate for the post of vice-Chairman of Rajya Sabha. Bihar chief minister Sri Nitish Kumar again spoke to chief minister Naveen Patnaik this morning regarding the Rajya Sabha vice-chairman election. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced BJDs support to the JDU candidate Dr. Harivansh Narayan Singh for the post of Rajya sabha vice-chairman.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had earlier discussed the issue with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. The BJP has announced its support for JD (U) candidate, Dr. Singh, after a telephone conversation between the two this morning.
