Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice): BJP is not aware that the Odisha Government has already provided 3 months free 5 kg rice and 1 kg dal in advance to all NFSA cardholders in April, 2020 and is now going to further provide 5 months of free rice and dal to all NFSA Card holders.It seems that the BJP has not read these aspects and are therefore indulging in falsehood and misleading the people of the State, said BJD spokesperson Lennin Mohanty reacting to the allegation made by BJP today.
Sri Mohanty further said that , during Lock down period the Odisha Government has provided Rs 3000/- financial assistance to 45,600 Street Vendors with a total of Rs.13.68 Crores as well as Rs 1500/- financial Assistance has been given per Construction worker during the LockDown period. Instead of politicizing issues during the fight against Corona, the BJP should rather cooperate with the Odisha Government in the larger interests of 4.5 crore people of Odisha. It clearly shows that for the BJP, politics comes first and the people of Odisha second. we hope the BJP is aware that about 1 lakh COVID patients are being added in the country every 3-4 days and they should not politicize issues at this time of COVID Pandemic, said BJD spokesperson Sri Mohanty.
