Blood Donation Camp Held at CRPF Campus on CRPF Day

Bhubaneswar, March 10: A blood donation camp was successfully organized by the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar on 9th March at the Central Reserve Police Force Campus on the occasion of CRPF Day.

The camp was inaugurated by Amitendra Nath Sinha, Inspector General of CRPF, in the presence of Manoj Tripathy, Rotary District Governor, along with members and volunteers of the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar.

A total of 150 units of blood were collected during the camp. The initiative aimed not only at collecting blood but also at spreading awareness about the importance and life-saving impact of voluntary blood donation.

Speaking on the occasion, Community Service Director Dr M P Rout elaborated on the health benefits and importance of regular blood donation and encouraged people to come forward for this noble cause.

The blood collection was conducted with the support of the medical team from Capital Hospital Blood Bank, who ensured smooth and safe management of the camp.

“It was a great success, said Sanjaya Chaudhury, President of the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar. He expressed his gratitude to the CRPF authorities, the medical team, Rotarians, and all donors for their enthusiastic participation and support in making the event meaningful and impactful.

The organizers emphasized that such initiatives help strengthen awareness about voluntary blood donation and contribute significantly to saving precious lives in the community.
