Tikiri, 10 December 2025: To foster creativity, experiential learning, and skill-based development among young children, Aditya Alumina Refinery (a unit of Hindalco Industries Limited of the Aditya Birla Group) organized a vibrant Children’s Festival at Podapadi High School Ground on 8th December 2025.
A total of 14 schools participated in this day-long festival, with more than 700 students taking part in various learning and creativity-based activities. It was a full-day programme filled with excitement, engagement, and holistic learning experiences.
The event was formally inaugurated by Mr. Mazhar Beig – Unit Head & President Aditya Alumina Refinery and joined by Mr. Pabitra Nayak – ABEO Kashipur & Ms. Padmini Pujari – School Headmistress Podapadi Highschool. Mr. Ramesh Duvada – Head Construction, Mr. Basudeb Khuntia – Head F&C, Mr. Deepak Mohanty – Head HR, IR, RR, CSR & OHC, Mr. Tanmaya Mohanty – Project Manager CSR & RnR, SMC President – Mr. Arjun Jhudia, Ex-SMC President – Mr. Bijay Ratna Choudhury, Mr. Ramakanta Mohanty, and Mr. Rajendra Duria were among other dignitaries present in the event.
The Children’s Festival aimed to promote creativity, learning, and active participation among school children through a wide range of structured and interactive activities. Six learning stalls were set up, including Art, Science, Mathematics, Environment, Yoga & Wellness, and TLM (Teaching Learning Materials). These activity zones offered students the opportunity to explore new concepts, build skills, and showcase their talent. The festival also featured cultural performances that added vibrancy and encouraged artistic expression among the children.
A special attraction of the event was the “dummy dolls and food court,” which generated excitement and curiosity among students, making the day even more memorable for them. To appreciate their participation, prizes and certificates were distributed to all children.
The event received enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, school authorities, and the community, making the Children’s Festival 2025 a remarkable and successful celebration.
