Bhubaneswar ( Kalinga Voice ) : Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik Undertook an aerial survey of flood-affected areas today . After the aerial survey CM Patanaik says in a tweet ” Undertook an aerial survey of flood-affected areas. Flood has waterlogged many districts, marooned many villages, agricultural crops, damaged houses, disrupted roads and other infrastructure. Expeditious steps are being taken to restore normal life ”
After that CM took a review of the flood situation and relief measures being undertaken by the administration . CM also declared the relief package for the flood affected people.
PACKAGE OF IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE FOR FLOOD – 2020
- Cooked/ Dry food shall be provided to all the people who
have been evacuated for the period they are housed in
shelters. - 50 Kg. of rice and Rs.500/- will be provided to all families
in the villages which have been severely affected/
inundated / marooned due to the current flood. - One polythene sheet to each deserving household whose
house has been damaged. - House Damage Assistance as per SDRF norms. Collectors
will take steps for assessment of house damage within
15 days and disburse the assistance in next 7 days. - Assistance for clothing and utensils as per SDRF Norms.
- Cattle feed assistance to dairy farmers as per SDRF
Norms. - Exemption of User Fees for vaccination and treatment of
animals in flood affected areas. - Free animal checkup camps in affected areas.
For all other affected districts, assistance shall be
distributed as per SDRF norms.
