Bhubanewswar (Kalinga Voice) : Chief Ministers Naveen Patnaik writes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi On the conduct of tenth and plus two board exams.In a letter to PM today, CM writes that the school and colleges are closed due to Covid Pandemic and will be remain closed upto December 31 . The state government is trying its best to reach the students digitally in online method. But its not possible to reach all the students and to prepare them for the board or other competitive examinations . In the absence of clarity about the academic session and conduct of board examinations for class 10 and class 12 board examinations the students enrolled and their parents are in uncertain Entrance exams and admission to higher education institutions are interlinked at the national level.
Hence CM requests PM for national guidelines on time frame to conduct board exams in view of the covid situation. This will help in reducing anxiety amongst students and parents of those who are appearing in board exams, writes cm in his letter.
