Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice) : Another 515 COVID19 patients have recovered and are being discharged in Odisha. The total recovered cases of #Odisha now stands at 12452. On the other hand, 5 persons have breathed their last within last 24 hours. The highest number of 199 persons are recovered and discharged from Ganjam district followed by 80 from Khurdha, 40 from Jajpur, 37 from Sundergarh, 28 from Cuttack, 20 from Keonjhar, 18 from Jagatsinghpur, 15 from Balasore, 13 from Jharsuguda, 13 from Bargarh, 9 from Mayurbhanj, 9 from Rayagada, 8 from Balangir, 7 from Bhadrak,6 from Gajapati, 6 from Puri, 5 from Koraput and one each from Angul & Kendrapara, reports H & FW Dept Odisha @HFWOdisha

Regarding the death of the persons, H & FW Dept report that 5 persons have died due to corona and two for other reasons. As per the report a 70-year old female of Ganjam district, a 67-year old Male of Jagatsinghpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes, a 44-year old Male of Ganjam district, a 65-year old female of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes and Bronchitis and a 39-year old Male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes has died due to CORONA.
Also, a 53-year old Male of Ganjam district due to Bradycardia, Hyperkalemia, and Metabolic Acidosis, with history of Chronic Kidney Disease, whereas an 83-year old Male of Bhubaneswar due to uncontrolled Diabetes, Acute Kidney Injury and Metabolic Acidosis have died for other reasons while being treated as corona positive.
