CS visited Mayurbhanj, reviewed the field-level progress of developmental projects

Baripada(Dilip Mohanty) : Chief Secretary Sri Suresh Chandra Mahapatra visited to Karanjia of Mayurbhanj district today. He reviewed the field-level progress of different developmental projects. Sri Mahapatra also discussed with the district and sub-divisional level of various departments at the conference hall of Karanjia Sub collectorate. Mainly the progress of Deo irrigation project, Subarnrekha irrigation project, roads under NHAI, rural electrification under NESCO area, rural pipe water supply schemes, eco-tourism, tourism-based Industries were reviewed. The ground-level problems were discussed and resolved in the meeting.

The review meeting focused on Deo Irrigation Project, Subarnarekha Irrigation Project, National Highways Project, Rural Electrification, Pipe Water Supply Project, Tourism Based Industry, Eco Tourism and Establishment of New Industries in the District. All of these field-related issues were addressed in a timely manner. Chief Secretary Shri Mohapatra set a deadline for the completion of all these projects. Chief Secretary Shri Mohapatra emphasized on completing projects such as irrigation and drinking water supply within the stipulated time and providing services to the people. After the review meeting, CS Sri Mahapatra also visited Deo river dam side irrigation projects Hatibar,Karanjia block along with Collector Mayurbhanj Sri Vineet Bharadwaj and other senior officers of concerned departments.

Superintendent of Police Smith P.S. Parmar, Additional District Magistrate Rudranarayan Mohanty, PD, DRDA Bhagesh Kumar Nayak, Deputy District Magistrate Karanjia Dr Rajinikanth Biswal, Chief Engineer (Construction) of Deo Irrigation Project Eng Badal Kumar Sahu, Executive Engineer Deo Headworks Division Eng Anil Kumar Panigrahi, Deo Officials from the department, including the Land Acquisition Officer, Dukhbandhu Nayak, and the NHAI Project Director attended the meeting.
