Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice) : General Manager, East Coast Railway, Shri Vidya Bhushan complimented the team ECoR for the strong determination and devotion to their duties with a progressive attitude that resulted in bagging prestigious Govind Ballabh Pant Shield, 2020 for the Best Overall Performance amongst all zones over Indian Railways.
Congratulating the employees, Shri Vidya Bhushan said that the relentless efforts of the Railwaymen and their valuable contribution could make it possible to get Accounts & Finance Management Shield, Traffic Transportation Shield and Sales Management Shield. These shields are the recognition of the dedication, hard work, focus and achievements of our officials.
Further, he mentioned that it is pertinent to recall that ECoR created history by being the first zone amongst the 17 Railway Zones to load more than 200MT (Million Tonnes) of freight traffic after 2003 and also achieved operating ratio of 51.34.
He complimented the members of Team ECoR who have worked with commitment through the Covid-19 challenge that ensured continuation of supply chain to all corners of the country.
He asked the Railway men to continue their efforts to keep ECoR flag high, surpass the targets & past performance and to reach the expectations of the people & Ministry of Railways.
