Health Camp for Senior Citizens organised at Shree Krishna Anand Old AgeHome
Bhubaneswar : On the eve of International Day of Older persons District Legal Services Authority (DLSA),Khordha at Bhubaneswar has organised a Legal Awareness camp on 1st October in the subject : Legal Services to Senior Citizens Scheme,2016 ; Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen’s Act-2007; National Programme for the Health Care for the elderly etc. alongwith a Health Camp for the Health Check-upof Elder persons resided at Shree Krishna Anand Old Age Home situated at Dihasahi,Nuagaon,Bhubaneswar .
The said programme was presided over by the Secretary,DLSA Smt. Soudamini Singh who aware about the Maintenance and Welfare of the Parents and Senior Citizens Act,2007 and other various Welfare schemes of Government as well as legal rights enacted for them under the law for their benefit. The team of Doctors of Capital Hospital,Bhubaneswar headed by Casuality Medical Officer Dr. Ipsita Mohapatra and Dr. Hrudipadma Sahoo and another team of Doctors of Aditya Aswini Hospital ,headed by Dr. Satyaranjan Mohanty,M.D.Pulmonologist(Casual Specialist) conducted Health Check up at the above institution.
Senior Citizens were made aware about the law and got benefited.Lastly, Smt. Saudamini Singh offered vote of thanks to the high dignitaries gathered there for their successful organization on the eve of the aforesaid day.
