Eastern Regional Police Co-ordination Committee meeting held: DGPs of 5 states attended

Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Voice) :   A meeting of the Eastern Regional Police Co-ordination Committee consisting of Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh was convened by DGP, Odisha today on a virtual platform to discuss inter-state police co-operation. DGP, West Bengal Shri Virendra, DGP, Odisha Shri Abhay, DGP, Chhatisgarh, Shri D.M. Awasthi, DGP, Jharkhand Shri Neeraj Sinha, and DGP Bihar Shri Sanjay Kumar Singhal attended the meeting.

Matters related to inter-state Co-operation in anti-naxal operation, intelligence, Co-operation in Internal Security matters, Co-operation relating to Inter-state crime, Organised crime, Cyber crime, Drug trafficking, Human trafficking, and Co-operation in capacity building were discussed . From Odisha’s side Senior Police Officers Director, Intelligence Lalit Das, Addl. DG of Police, CID, CB Sanjeeb Panda, Addl. DG of Police (L & O) R.K. Sharma, IG of Police (Operations) Amitabh Thakur, IG, CID, CB AmitendraNathSinha attended the meeting.

          Senior Police officials of West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Bihar to attended the meeting. Senior Officers from Central Region also attended the meeting.
