Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Voice): Odisha’s #COVID19 case tally crosses 21000 mark with highest single-day spike of 1264 new cases & 6 deaths in the last 24 hrs.
The total positive cases in the state stand at 21099. Death of 6 persons is reported in the state taking the death toll to 114. Five persons have died from Ganjam and one from Khurdha district. Out of the total positives detected today 847 are identified from the quarantine, while 417 from local contact. The total persons recovered till yesterday stands at 13749 and the total active cases in the state including the new positives today is 7205.
The highest number of 540 positives are detected from Ganjam districts followed by Khurda 137, Rayagada: 84, Gajapati 74, Nayagarh 61, Sundargarh 60, Cuttack 47, Bhadrak 30, Kandhamal 29, Koraput:27, Keonjhar 25, Bargarh 24, Puri 22, Sambalpur 20, Jajpur 17, Mayurbhanj 15, Kendrapada 8, Balasore 9, seven each from Kalahandi and Angul , Dhenkanal 6, 4 each from Jagatsinghpur and Nawarangpur, Jharsuguda 3, Boudh: 2 and one each from Nuapada and Balangir, says I & PR Department, Odisha @IPR_Odisha
