Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Voice): 76-year-old Bijayram Jena was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar but unfortunately breathed his last on April 1 due to brain stroke.
This matter came into notice of Sri Sangram Keshari Paikray, Chairman, Khadi Board, who had a conversation with the bereaved family regarding eye donation.
Upon counseling, the family agreed to donate the eyes of the deceased and Sri Paikray intimated the matter to Odisha-Mo Parivar. All the required procedures were co-ordinated by our helpdesk associate Bikash Behera, stationed at Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar.
