Jharsuguda: ( Subhash Sahare ) : Direct flights from Jharsuguda Veer Surendra Sai Airport to Mumbai and Bengaluru are set to start by October.
According to sources, the private airline SpiceJet is scheduled to start flights from Jharsuguda-Mumbai and Jharsuguda-Bengaluru from October 25. According to the Director of the airport, Kishore Kumar Senapati, the airport authorities have given their permission.
SpiceJet will use Boeing 737-800 aircraft for Jharsuguda-Mumbai flights. There will be 189 first class accommodation and 162 second class accommodation in that flight .
