Grand science exhibition organized in Aditya Birla Public School

Kashipur / Baikuntha Duria :: A grand science exhibition was organized in Aditya Birla Public School, Osapada on the 29th of June, 2022. The exhibition had a number of students and teachers participating and collaborating hand in hand to make the event successful.
The science fair was named as “Science, Society and Environment”. The exhibition was open to students from classes III-IX.
The event was inaugurated at 9:00 am by the Unit Head and President of UAIL- Mr. Mazharullah Beig along with President of Ujjwal Utkal- Mrs. Hina Beig, HR Head- Mr. Rakesh Pratap Singh, C.S.R Head- Mrs. Lopamudra Priyadarshini and Head of Finance dept.- Mr Sudhakar Biswal. The event started with the Principal of the school, Mr. L.N Dash welcoming the dignified chief guest and the honoured judges. In the exhibition, 39 models from Science department, 33 models from Social Science department and 26 from Mathematics department were exhibited.
The judges were accompanied by the student representatives and explained all the details of the event. The judges went to each table and meticulously marked them according to their set up.
Students presented different types of models which were related to different branches of Science, Mathematics and Social Science. The Honorable Chief Guest and judges along with the Principal surveyed the entire exhibition and also took details from the respective students about each of their models. The students presented their wonderful projects using their creativity and skills.
Besides the extraordinary models, there were special activities performed by the small students. Little kids were dressed up in tribal costumes showing the uniqueness of this land. All the students were excited and enthusiastic to witness the day.
At the end of the day the result was announced where from the junior wing (Science), G. Srinidhi and Rihas Choudhury bagged the first position presenting ‘Spirulina: Cultivation and its benefits’, Second position was bagged by Sanvi Prakash and Baghambar Pattnaik for a brilliant model on ‘Rain Water Harvesting’. In Senior wing (Science), Archisman Rath and Amlan Abhinav Jena captivated the viewers by their wonderful model on ‘Modern Drainage System’ whereas Aman Aditya and Priyanshu Pradhan secured the second position with ‘Laser Security Alarm System’.

In Social Science department, from the junior group, ‘Incredible Odisha’ presented by Shreyansh Prusty and Sai Animesh Jena won the first position whereas ‘Solar System’ by Sayanshee Priya Samal and Sameekshya Subhadarshini secured the second position. From the senior wing ‘Indus of Volcanoes’ model by Devanshu Panda and Aditi Pandey stood second. Mathematics department was incredible in their presentation. From the junior group,Divyansh Panigrahi and A. Tanishka won by presenting a fantastic model on ‘Digit Editing’ whereas Harshvardhan Harlalka and Navneet Dash with a model on ‘DAY Calculator’ became runners up. From the senior wing, Smrutirekha Sarangi and Sanskruti Parida became winners presenting a project on ‘HCF & LCM’ whereas Ayashkant Seth and Tanveer Dhimaan became runners up with their model on ‘Easy Tricks in Maths’.
The chief guest, judges and visitors at the exhibition thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the collective efforts of the students and the teachers. They admired the creative ideas in the blooming buds that makes them stand out in a crowd.
