Bhubanewar/Cuttack:In a colourful event Anchalika Degree Mahavidyalaya ,Kanpur Cuttack celebrated its annual function with glory. The Chief Guest of the function was education minister Shri Rohit Pujari,While MP of Cuttack Shri Bhatruhari Mahatab was the Chief Speaker at the event. Special Guest of the event was MLA of Badamba Shri Debi Prasad Mishra. Guest of Honor of the event was MoCollege Chairperson Shri Akash Dasnayak.
In his speech Education Minister Shri Rohit Pujari said,“If you educate a boy you will educate an individual where as if you educate a girl you are educating an entire nation.”
Chief Speaker of the event MP of Cuttack Shri Bhatruhari Mahatab stressed on the need of education and its advantage in life. Guest of Honor Shri Akash Dasnayak said,“ The college belongs to the students and to the Alumnis.Its inevitable that more and more Alumnis must join the Alma mater for its overall development.”
During the event Education Minister Shri Rohit Pujari inagaurated new classroom for graduation students while a Foundation Stone for more Classrooms was led by MP Shri Bhatruhari Mahtab. The event was presided by Sub-Collector of Athagarh cum President of college governing body OAS Shri Hemant Kumar Swain. The other esteemed guest of Honor were Shri Kishore Chandra Mishra Hon’ble President of Zillaparishad Cuttack and Hon’ble Chairman of Panchayat Samiti Narsinghpur Block Smt.Sasmita Jena. The welcome address was given By Principal Shri Ajay Kishore Das while Vote of thanks was given by the advisor college Union Shri Arun Kumar Sahu. Winners of Literary competition and sports were feliciated with Champions trophy.

The Knowledge application centre of Narsinghpur college Narsinghpur,Cuttack OSCIT(Odisha State Certificate in Information technology) was inagaurated by the minister
Addressing the gathering Higher Education Minister Shri Rohit Pujari said.“ It’s important to be smart and well-educate to succeed in life.”
Guest of Honor was MoCollege Abhijan Chairperson Shri Akash Dasnayak stressed on the importance of MoCollege Abhijan and its diverse dimensions to improve College Infrastructure as well as how to connect to other organizations.”
Principal Shri Umakanta Sahoo welcomed the guest on stage while vote of thanks was proposed by Regional Director of Higher Education Bhubaneswar Shri Kartika Prasad Jena. Around 1500 students,Mo College coordinator and staffs were present during the event.
