Cuttack(Kalinga Voice) : IFFCO Paradeep Unit donated 50 three-seater steel chairs to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack. The chairs will enhance patient and medicine department facilities in the New Medicine Building. SCB Medical College ranks among the country’s top government hospitals, drawing patients nationwide. Yet, it faces chronic challenges with overcrowded spaces and inadequate amenities while many patients sit or sleep on the ground, with some unable to find any space at all. Dr. Jayant Kumar Panda reached out to IFFCO Managing Director Shri KJ Patel and Paradeep Unit Head Shri PK Mohapatra, requesting assistance.
In response, IFFCO organized a donation ceremony, during which they handed over the chairs alongside an awareness program. The event was attended by Dr. Lucy Das, Dean & Principal, SCB Medical College, Dr. Goutam Satapathy, Superintendent, SCB Medical College, Dr. Saroj Kumar Tripathy, HOD, PG Dept. of Medicine, SCB Medical College,Dr. Jayanta Kumar Panda, Professor, PG Dept. of Medicine, SCB Medical College, Cuttack, Dr. Jyotrimaya Nayak, Addl. Superintendent SCB Medical College, Dr. Prasanna Kumar Beura, Public Relations Officer, IFFCO Paradeep Unit, Sh Biswa Ranjan Sahoo, and other SCB administrators lauded IFFCO’s timely support and expressed deep appreciation to its Managing Director, Shri K.J Patel, and Unit Head Shri P.K. Mahapatra. This act highlights IFFCO’s wide-ranging contributions not just to farmers, but to healthcare and welfare for humans and animals alike.
