Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice) : ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India), Odisha facility has established a six-bed COVID Care Centre (CCC)at Ore Club, Barbil in Keonjhar.
The CCC was inaugurated by Dr.Soubhagya Rashmi Ranjan Samal, Nodal Officer, Covid -19, Barbil in presence of Dr. Fakir Mohan Naik, Superintendent of Govt. Community Health Center, Barbil, Mr. Ramakrishna Chinnamsetty, Head-Mining and Business Development,Mr. Sabyasachi Mohanty, COO- Mining, Mr. AjitPatra, Mines Manager, Mr. Vikas Yadvendu, Head-CSR, Mr.Pramod Mishra, Head-HSE, Mining and other senior officials of the company.
Mr. Ramakrishna Chinnamsettysaid, “We have taken utmost care for our employees and associates during this pandemic situation to combat Coronavirus. We also follow all guidelines of COVID Management strictly for the safety of our employees”.
As per the Govt. guidelines, the company has appointed qualified (MBBS) medical doctors and paramedical staff at CCC. Other facilities and necessary supporting infrastructures like; oxygen Cylinders, oxy-meters, auto-hand sanitizers, medicine and have been arranged at CCC.
In August 2020, AM/NS India, Odisha Facility had established a 32-bed COVID Care Centre (CCC) at Pellet Plant at Paradeep in Jagatsinghpur.
