FURTHER CASH RS. 2,16, 900/- UNEARTHED DURING SEARCH AND SEIZED.
Bolagarh : Sri Nrusingha Nath Pradhan, Grampanchayat Technical Assistant (JE) of Bolagarh Block, Dist-Khordha has been apprehended Today i.e on 06.07.2024 by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs. 19,200/- (Rupees Nineteen Thousand Two Hundred) from a complainant for facilitating release of bill towards construction of cultural centre in khanguria GP under Bolagarh Block. The entire bribe money has been recovered from accused Sri Pradhan and seized.
Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at four locations of Sri Pradhan from DA angle.
During search at his Govt. Quarter, Cash Rs.2,16, 900/- has been unearthed and seized. Further searches going on.
In this connection, Bhubaneswar Vigilance PS Case No.14/2024 U/s 7 PC (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered. Investigation is in progress against accused Sri Pradhan, GPTA.
