Jio bolsters No. 1 position in Odisha; adds highest 1.85 lakh new subscribers in November: TRAI Data

Bhubaneswar: Continuing its excellent march as the No. 1 digital service provider in Odisha, Reliance Jio added the highest around 1.85 lakh new subscribers in the wireless, wireline and fixed wireless access (FWA) segments in the month of November 2025. As per the latest telecom subscription data released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Reliance Jio added the highest over 1.59 lakh new mobile subscribers and over 25000 new home broadband subscribers in Odisha in November. While Jio added over 1.59 lakh new mobile subscribers in Odisha in November, its nearest competitor Airtel lost over 10000 mobile subscribers. Both Vodafone Idea and BSNL added just 3027 and 2433 new mobile subscribers, respectively, in the same period. With this robust performance, Jio further consolidated its market leadership in Odisha with around 1.71 crore mobile subscribers and over 47.3 percent mobile subscriber market share, as of November 30, 2025. This milestone has been powered by the unmatched consumer trust in Jio’s services and the technological superiority of its all-IP 4G and True 5G networks across the state. The ultra-affordable JioBharat 4G phone, also enabled thousands of 2G customers to upgrade to 4G, particularly in rural and remote regions across Odisha.
As per the data, the total number of mobile subscribers in Odisha increased by over 1.54 lakhs in November and crossed 3.61 crores as of 30 November 2025. Nationally, Reliance Jio led India’s telecom growth in November 2025, adding over 21.6 lakhs new subscribers in wireless, wireline and FWA segments, reinforcing its position as the key driver of India’s digital transformation. This includes over 13.88 lakh new mobile subscribers, over 1.7 lakh wireline and over 5 lakh new fixed wireless access subscribers, added across India, in the month of November 2025.
Jio also continued to dominate the home broadband segment in Odisha, adding over 25000 JioFIber and JioAirFiber subscribers in November. The total number of home broadband subscribers on Jio network in the state crossed 6.66 lakhs as of November 30, 2025. JioAirFiber alone witnessed over 19000 new subscribers joining Jio 5G FWA and UBR FWA service in this month.
