Cuttack/Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice) :Biren Mitra Memorial Women’s (Degree) College, Cuttack Library Management System(LMS) was inaugurated at the college premises by Mo College Abhijan Chairperson Shri Akash Dasnayak on Wednesday. The event was held under the supervision of Principal, Shri.Prahalad Chandra Biswal.
Shri Das Nayak, the Chairperson of ‘Mo College Abhijan Parichalana Sangathan’ attended the event as Chief Guest. Founder/Editor of College, Shri Prasanna Kumar Tripathy and Er.Nagendra Kumar Mohanty were also presided along as Guest of Honour during the event.
In his address,Shri Dasnayak said, “Library is the key factor of every Educational Institution and in modern times LMS is the support system for traditional face-to-face instruction, as well as blended/hybrid and distance learning environments. `Mo College Abhijan’ is a dedicated platform to every college and it’s Alumnis to create more and more amenities in every institution.”
Shri Dasnayak also encouraged the alumni of college to participate more in different developmental works & projects as well as highlighted over the vision of ‘Mo College’. College Co-coordinator of MoCollege Abhijan Dr.Rajashree Swain described about the functions of ‘DIGITAL LIBRARY’. Professor Smt.Jayanti Singh Introduced the guests & Smt.Nilima Satapathy proposed vote of thanks at the conclusion of the program. All the faculties, staffs and previous students of the college were present throughout the event.
