Mahanadi Mines and Minerals Enhances Eye Health for 300 Villagers in Sundergarh

SUNDERGARH, July 14, 2025 – Mahanadi Mines and Minerals today distributed spectacles to 300 villagers across four villages in the Sundergarh district. This initiative, aimed at improving local residents’ ocular health and well-being, saw spectacles provided in Bijahan and Bhograkachhar villages, following earlier distributions in Girisima and Jharpalam.

Out of the 300 villagers who received spectacles, an impressive 126 were fitted with corrective glasses to help improve their vision. This initiative is truly making a difference in the lives of many! The remaining 174 villagers received zero-power glasses, designed to protect their eyes from dust and the strain of prolonged exposure to TV and mobile screens.
