Bongaigaon: NTPC Bongaigaon project successfully organized a grand Kavi Sammelan (Poets’ Gathering), reaffirming its steadfast commitment to the official language, Rajbhasha Hindi. The four eminent poets captivated the audience with their brilliant performances, blending humour and national pride.
The event began with the felicitation of the four poets: Shri Nilotpal Mrinal (Youth Poet and Novelist), Shri Sudeep Bhola (Humour King), Shri Suresh Albela (The Laughter Challenge Winner), and Rashtrakavi Shri Amit Sharma (Profound Poet of Veer Ras).
The poets enchanted the audience with verses based on their respective genres: Shri Nilotpal Mrinal voiced social concerns and contemporary issues through his youthful vision. Shri Sudeep Bhola elicited loud laughter with his witty humour and sharp political satire. Shri Suresh Albela entertained everyone with his unique style and touching humour based on life’s ironies. Finally, Rashtrakavi Shri Amit Sharma stirred patriotic fervour by reciting Veer Ras (Valour) poems focused on national pride and glory.
On this occasion, Shri Arnab Maitra, BUH, graced the event as the Chief Guest. He was joined on stage by Smt. Kasturi Maitra, President, Baardwi Shikla Ladies Club, and Shri Anurag Maitra, GM (O&M), along with the Heads of all Departments.
This event marked a significant step in promoting Rajbhasha Hindi. The function concluded with a Dinner organized for all attendees, filling the atmosphere with warmth and camaraderie. Through this successful event, NTPC Bongaigaon reinforced its commitment to Rajbhasha Hindi.
