Odisha AM/NS India Kho Kho High-Performance Centre athletes outperform at 38thNational Games

Bhubaneswar, February05, 2025: 12 athletes of the Odisha AM/NS India Kho Kho High-Performance Centre (HPC) represented Odisha teams at the 38thNational Games held in Haldwani, Uttarakhandduring January 28 to February 01, 2025. The Odisha teamsmade the state proudby securing silver medals in both the Men’s and Women’s categories.

The Odisha Women’s team included five athletes from the HPC – Archana Majhi, Archana Pradhan, Magai Majhi, Subhashree Singh, and Lisarani Raita while the Odisha Men’s team included seven athletes from the HPC – Arjun Singh, Pabani Sabar, Deepak Kumar Sahoo, Sunil Patra, Vishal Oram, T. Sankar, and T. Jagannath Das. The athletes showed unparallelled teamwork and an indomitable spirit which reflected the hard work and coaching provided at the Odisha AM/NS India Kho Kho High-Performance Centre.

Sanjeev Sharma, Head Coach, Odisha AM/NS India Kho Kho High-Performance Centre said, “Our athletes displayed exceptional skill, agility, and teamwork throughout the tournament. Securing silver in a highly competitive event is a testament to their hard work and dedication. This is just the beginning, and we will continue striving for gold in future tournaments.”
