Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Voice): In Odisha , the number of the new COVID infected cases above three thousand today too with the death of 11 persons by this deadly virus. Another 3219 persons in Odisha tested positive for found in the last 24 hours taking the state’s tally to 1,09,780, informed the IPR Department. Khordha district has recorded the highest 731 cases followed by Cuttack (400), Puri (217), Balasore (194), Bargarh (185) and Ganjam (169)
Out of the New Positives Cases 3219 from 29 districts, 1931 have been reported from different quarantine centers while the remaining 1288 are local contacts. Yesterday new recoveries were 3484 . The total positive cases stand at 109780 and 80770 persons are recovered till date. The number of Active Cases in the state including today’s new positive cases is now 28443 . Till today as many as 1891099 samples have been tested in the state, said Information and Public Relations (I & PR ) Department.
