NEW DELHI: Union Minister Petroleum Natural Gas and Steel Dharmendra Pradhan thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Agriculture Miniser Narendra Singh Tomar for granting Odisha ₹7.75 crores in the last 4 years under the National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture.
He said in a tweet “Thank PM Shri Narendra Modi and Min. Shri Tomar for granting ₹7.75 crores to Odisha in the last 4 years under the National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture to stimulate the growth of agroforestry models and empower women and small & marginal farmers in the state.”
He further tweets ” Agroforestry has immense potential to mitigate the climate change effects, conservation of natural resources, creation of additional source of livelihood and making fruits of development reach to traditional forest dwellers, tribals and poor in the country, including in Odisha.”
