Odisha Media Delegation Visits PIB Hyderabad, Interacts with ADG Shruti Patil

On the first day of their visit, a media delegation from Odisha visited the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Hyderabad, as part of an official press tour. The visit aims to provide an understanding of the implementation of Central Government schemes across states, as well as the functioning of key developmental projects and institutions.

During the visit, the delegation had an engaging interaction with Additional Director General, PIB Hyderabad, Smt. Shruti Patil. In her address, she highlighted the importance of press tours in bridging the gap between policy initiatives and public awareness. She noted that such visits provide journalists with first-hand exposure, enabling them to produce more impactful and well-informed stories.

She highlighted the Government of India’s efforts towards inclusive growth in the state, with a focus on skill development and capacity building. She also mentioned that a significant number of Odias residing in Telangana are contributing across sectors, strengthening the bond between the two regions.

She encouraged the visiting journalists to explore diverse perspectives while developing stories. She also shared valuable insights on effective storytelling, urging the delegation to focus on human interest elements, developmental aspects, and ground-level realities.

She warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed confidence that the visit would enhance their professional capabilities and contribute to more meaningful journalism.
