Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice) : Tapas Das, a 29-year-old, from Padampur, Kendrapada, used to work as a mechanic in a Pvt. Limited company in Bangalore. In the year 2014, while working, he met with an accident that resulted in severe injury to his right leg. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where, unfortunately, his right leg was amputated below the knee. After recovery, he had availed a prosthetic but with time, it got damaged.
He had approached Minister Sri Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, seeking help for another prosthetic. Upon getting information from Sri Nayak, Tapas was guided to visit ARC, Capital Hospital for measurements and after availing prosthetic, Tapas expressed his gratitude to Hon’ble CM, Sri Nayak and Odisha-Mo Parivar.
