Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Voice)): Today, 647 corona positives are identified in Odisha from 23 districts. Of those, 431 were identified from the quarantine, while 216 were identified from the local contact. As a result, the total number of positives reached 18757. Of these, the number of persons recovered was 12909, while the number of active positive reaches 5,725. Similarly, the death toll in the state has crossed 100. Six people have died in the last 24 hours The deceased are from Kendrapara, Cuttack, Gajapati, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, and Rayagada, reported H&FW Department. Including these, the death toll in the state has risen to 103 so far.
The highest number of 225 positives are identified from Ganjam today, followed by Anugul 37, Baleshwar 40, Bargarh 4, Bhadrak 12, Balangir 5, Cuttack 84, Dhenkanal 10, Jagatsinghpur 7, Jajpur 2, Kandhamal 5, Kendrapada 13, Khordha 68, Kendujhar 8, Koraput 28, Malkangiri 10, Mayurbhanj 2, Nabarangpur 2, Nayagarh 4, Rayagada 47, Sambalpur 10, Sonpur 1 and Sundargarh 22, informed the I &PR Department.
