Cuttack: Punyatithi (death anniversary) events for legendary Smt. Nandini Satpathy. were held at several places in Odisha as well as in few other spots of the world. Several who’s who attended these events.
Speaking on the occasion in a prayer meeting held at 9, Pithapur, Cuttack Chairman of SNSMT Shri. Suparno Satpathy said “Fourth of August in year 2006 was by far the saddest day of his life” he added “Smt. Nandini Satpathy for the world but the world for your’s truly. Missing Ma a bit more than usual”.
In his address he called for action to ensure that all the contributions of Smt. Nandini Satpathy for Orissa albeit for India ought to be documented well by both Govt. of Odisha as well as by Govt. of India.
The august audience was mesmerised by the flute / bansuri maestroRudra Parida.
Remembering the Iron Lady , several agreed that the school of thought believed in by Legendary Smt. Nandini Satpathy was the best path for a better future of Odisha as well as of India.
