Bhubaneswar : It has been decided to run the regular service of Puri-Sonepur-Puri Weekly Express w.e.f. 8th February from Puri and w.e.f. 9th February 2024 from Sonepur. On the inaugural run, the train was flagged off by Hon’ble Prime Minister on 3rd February, 2024.
18421 Puri-Sonepur Weekly Express will leave from Puri at 1935hrs (07.35p.m.) on every Thursday and will reach at Sonepur at 0530hrs on every Friday.
In the return direction, 18422 Sonepur-Puri Express will leave from Sonepur at 1930hrs (07.30p.m.) on every Friday and will reach at Puri at 0655hrs on every Saturday.
This train will have stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Naraj Marthapur, Dhenkanal, Talcher, Angul, Boinda, Rairakhol, Sambalpur, Bargarh Road, Balangir, Bichhupali, Jhartarbha and Narasinghgarh between Puri and Sonepur from both the directions.
This train will have One AC-2 Tier, Seven AC-3 Tier, One AC-3 Tier Economy, Six Sleeper Class, Three Second Class Seating, One Guard, Luggage cum Divyangjan Coach and One Guard, Luggage & Motor Coach in its composition.
