Cuttack: On Orissa State foundation day ‘2025, Shri. Suparno Satpathy and Smt. Sharmistha Mukherjee paid respects to Netaji and to Legendary Smt. Nandini Satpathy. They also held a discussion on the best seller book ‘Pranab My Father’ authored by the later at the petite but iconic address of 9, Pithapur, Cuttack

“My father’s wish was that his daughter should publish a book based on his diaries. I have just followed his wishes. It is an honour and a privilege for me to be discussing my book at 9, Pithapur, Cuttack that too on a day when Orissa’s foundation as a separate state is being celebrated. It was an honour to pay my respects to Netaji and to the legendary Nandini Ji at their respective homes in Cuttack” says Smt. Sharmistha Mukherjee , daughter of former President Bharat Ratna Pranab Mukherjee.
The said book ‘Pranab My Father’ has been published by Rupa Publications.
