Cuttack: Smt. Nandini Satpathy Memorial Trust (SNSMT) on 21st of October shall mark the Declaration of Independence Day at 9am from its HQ at 9, Pithapur, Cuttack.
“Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose had established the first independent government of akhand Bharat/ India on 21 Oct 1943 at Singapore. Azad Hind Sarkar in year 2023 marks its 80th foundation day. In year 1968 Smt. Nandini Satpathy the then minister attached to PM of India had marked its silver jubilee and in year 2018 the then PM of India Shri. Narendra Modi had marked its 75th year. We had requested for 21 Oct to be added to the Government’s annual calendar but the same is still pending. This year we shall be marking the Declaration of Independence Day at the birth city of Netaji and we hope for 21 Oct to be celebrated by everyone” said noted socio- political leader, Chairman of SNSMT and lead member of Netaji movement Shri. “On 23 Oct ‘23 we shall be marking the 80th Balidan Diwas of legendary Shri. Bhagabati Charan Panigrahi at Bhagabati Bhawan, Bhubaneshwar. This Balidan Diwas is deeply connected to the Declaration of Independence Day of Bharat / India ” said CPI’s Shri. Abhay Sahu
