It is noteworthy that with the sincere and dedicated efforts of Shri Gaurang Charan Biswal, the eminent educationist , endeavoured to set up a private M.E. School which came into existence in the year 1971. This M.E. School merged with the previously established Sutan Dharmapada Upper Primary School later converted to an U.G.M.E School, a Government Educational Institution. With the passing of time, this School name has been changed which came to be known as “Sutan Upper Grade Upper Primary School”(Sutan U.G.U.P.School). This School is situated in the southern part of the village over ten acres of land with dense green environment around, giving it a sense of Vana Vidyalaya( A School amid the Forest ) . While this year 2020 has been a disastrous year for the whole World due to of Covid-19 Pandemic, at this juncture, the School at the end of this year is celebrating its “Golden Jubilee” on its completion of 50 years of existence in a simple and modest manner.
