Bhubaneswar/ Kalinga Voice : Sri Ashutosh Mishra, Special Public Prosecutor attached to the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhawanipatna of Kalahandi has been caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance Cell Division, Cuttack. Mr Mishra was caught raid handed while demanding and accepting undue advantage(bribe) of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh)from the Complainant Sri Malay Kumar Rana, ASI (now under suspension) of Kalahandi District in order to help him in a Vigilance case charge-sheeted against him and pending in the Court of Hon’ble Special Judge,Vigilance, Bhawanipatna. The tainted bribe money has been recovered and seized from the accused Sri Mishra. The residential house of the accused at Radhakrishna Nagar , Bhawanipatna town is being searched on D.A angle. In this connection ,Vigilance Cell PS case No.2 dt.1.7.2021 has been registered and is under investigation. Further report follows.
