The patient had severe fractures to the right side of her face following a traumatic accident in the month of April 2024, which resulted in vision loss and multiple fractures, including the orbit, cheekbone, and upper jaw.
After the accident, a CT scan revealed comminuted fractures in the maxilla, zygomatic, and orbital bone on the right side of her face. The woman had lost hope of regaining normal function and appearance due to the high risk associated with the surgery, including potential vision loss and severe brain complications.
