Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Voice) : The Government of Odisha, after due consideration has taken the following steps / measures for class promotion, new admission / readmission and teaching hour of students studying in different schools ;
Class Promotion for the students from Class-I to VIII will be made by 20.04.2022.
New Admission/ Re-admission for Class-I to IX may be done during 20th April to 30th April,2022. As per the New Assessment Policy introduced by BSE, Odisha, Class-IX students have to appear Summative Assessment-II Examination. However, the conduct of SA-II and declaration of result for students of Class-IX and promotion to Class-X must be completed by 10 th May, 2022.Morning classes will continue until further orders.
In order to compensate Learning Losses arising out of COVID-19 during last two years, Learning Recovery Plan (LRP) as envisaged by OSEPA will be implemented with the existing teachers during morning classes.The summer vacation will be curtailed and allowed for a brief period i.e., from 6 th June to 16 th June, 2022.. The teaching hour will be from 6.00 AM to 9.00 AM during 1st May to 5th June,2022. Cooked MDM will be supplied to the eligible beneficiaries.
