Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Voice) : The government of Odisha has appointed present Development commissioner Sri suresh Chandra Mohapatra IAS as chief secretary and chief Development commissioner Odisha .
Likely Special Relief commissioner and ACS RD Sri Pradeep Kumar Jena IAS is appointed as Development Commissioner cum Additional chief secretary odisha .
Outgoing chief secretary Sri Asit Kumar Tripathy is appointed as chairman Western odisha development council.He will be also principal Advisor to chief minister on Regional development ,Tourism , Agribusiness and Industry .
It is to be noted that while the politicians were being appointed as the chairman of the Western Odisha Development Council. No one was formally appointed to the post after the death of former chairman Subhas Chauhan. Many of the party’s leaders in western Odisha were eying for the post However, some leaders have to be temporarily disappointed after Mr. Tripathi, an IAS officer from Western Odisha, is appointed to the post instead of any leader.
