Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice) : The Swarnim Vijay Mashaal was ceremoniously taken to Puri, home of Lord Jagannath, for the citizens to pay homage to the Mashaal at the Golden Beach. Renowned Sand Sculptor Padma Shri Sudharshan Pattnaik designed and created a sand sculpture honouring the War Veterans. The Chief Guest for the ceremony was Mr Samarth Verma, IAS District Magistrate and Collector, Puri.
Post the function at the Golden Beach, the Flame was taken to Samant Chandra Sekhar Autonomous College where the students paid their homage and respect to the Flame followed by a cultural programme. The Flame returned to Bhubaneshwar in the evening.
