# 24×7 service to benefit more than 5,000 people in the region
Joda, January 06, 2024: Tata Steel Foundation (TSF) dedicated one Advanced Life Support ambulance in Guali of Keonjhar district on Saturday.
Equipped with Advanced Airway, Cardiac monitor, IV Fluid, and medication, the much-needed 24×7 ambulance service in the area is expected to benefit more than 5,000 people in the region.
The service was flagged-off by DS Subhadarshi Joshi, Tahsildar, Barbil, DipakBehera, Chief, KalamangGandhalpada Project, Tata Steel, Bidyadhar Naik, Sarpanch, Guali GP andKushaApat, social activist.
Among others Subhransu Sekhar Mishra, Head, Kalamang, Kundan Kumar, Head, Gandhalpada, Sanjay Sardar, Lead, TSF, Dabar Munda, ex-sarpanch, BimalaNayak, PS member, all ward members and officials of Tata Steel Foundation were present on the occasion.
SabitaBarik of Guali village expressed happiness on this service. “This service will not only facilitate basic life support in emergency, but lives of many can be saved with the help of installed systems in the ambulance,” she said.
Basant Naik of Kendudihi village echoed Sabita. “This 24×7 service is a ray of hope for all of us. We are really indebted to Tata Steel Foundation for this service”, he said.
Tata Steel Foundation is constantly working to develop sectors like Education, Health, Communication and Livelihood in the area and will continue to do so in the coming days.
