Dhenkanal: Tata Steel in association with MGM Group along with Dhenkanal District Administration, Dhenkanal Forest Dept., Dhenkanal Police and a few other stake holders to day organised a half marathon at Kapilash. More than 4500 runners participated in 21 Km, 10Km & 5Km race.
Noted socio-political leader and Chairman of SNSMT Shri. Suparno Satpathy flagged off & encouraged these races along with Dhenkanal MLA Sudhir Kumar Samal, Dhenkanal DM Manoranjan Mallik, Dhenkanal SP, Dhenkanal DFO and the officials of Tata steel and MGM group.
A total of ₹8 Lakh + cash prize was distributed amongs the winners. This run was organised to sensitise people for protection of wildlife.
