Technical Training on Steel Production & Energy Efficiency Held at Narbheram Power and Steel by BPNSI.

Bhubaneswar: A one-day technical training program is conducted today at Narbheram Power and Steel Pvt. Ltd., Dhenkanal on 20th May 2025, as part of the Professional Pre-Program (3P) initiative by Biju Patnaik National Steel Institute (BPNSI), Bhubaneswar. The program is directed by Prof. Satyapriya Satapathy, Senior Assistant Professor at BPNSI, and aims to enhance the technical competencies of plant personnel in critical areas of steel production and energy efficiency.

The training program features expert sessions on key steel production topics: Dr. Rama Krushna Sabat covers induction furnace steelmaking and continuous casting, Ms. Shaswoti Mohanty explains DRI production processes, and Prof. Satyapriya Satapathy highlights energy-efficient technologies for sponge iron.
